For quite a while I got hooked on porridge for breakfast with a glass of orange juice. There is nothing better to start the day with a bowl of porridge before hitting the gym and / or going to work.
As I’m not the biggest fan of cereals or porridge with milk, I always mix in cocoa or protein powder. From time to time I vary between almond and hazelnut drink as well as between vanilla, chocolate and cookies & cream protein powder or cocoa but my absolutely favourite combination is with hazelnut drink and cookies & cream flavoured protein powder.

- 50g oats
- 200ml hazelnut drink
- 1 scoop protein powder
- Desiccated coconut
- 1 dessert spoon milled chia seeds
(The nutritional facts are based on using Alpro Hazelnut Drink and Precision Engineered Whey Protein Cookies & Cream.)
Mix the protein powder with the hazelnut drink and pour it over the oats.
Mix the oats and the drinks well. Microwave for two minutes.
Stir in the milled chia seeds.
Add the raisins and sprinkle the coconut over the porridge.
Enjoy the start into your morning.
